Apple to Use LEDs

It is well known that Apple is going to offer new MacBooks and more expensive and powerful MacBook Pros. The first ones are meant for usual users to fulfil common tasks, while the second type is specially developed for ‘heavy’ users searching for extra processing power to record music or edit films. But there is one rumour exciting everyone, who wants to purchase MacBook in the nearest future. According to the rumours, Apple is to offer laptops with LED back lighting.
Recently, Steve Jobs informed an eco-friendly Mac community that the company plans to become a Greener Apple, what matches with news from DigiTimes, which said, that Apple had conducted certification of 13.3-inch and 15.4-inch LED panels by Taiwanese companies. Talking about the Greener Apple initiative, Steve Jobs really mentioned that future belongs to LED screens, which are capable to make MacBooks cheaper.
