GE has found a solution for an issue when home decorators wanted to use traditional bulbs and to save money at the same time. Many people didn’t like shape of energy saving bulbs and/or light emitting diodes (LEDs), but would like to use innovative and power efficient light sources. The usual scones and recessed track lights shouldn’t change their shapes any more!
Steven Briggs, vice president of marketing and global management with GE Consumer & Industrial’s LED business, says that the new product has been developed to make old and innovative light fixtures ‘compatible’ and interchangeable.
Briggs told that serviceability and upgradeability were the main issues for illumination architects and designers. The mentioned innovation is an answer from GE, which offers not only efficient and new product, but does its’ best to meet requirements of customers.
The GE’s lighting solution has become very popular and is already used by many European luminaire distributors, manufacturers, retailers and illumination designers.
